The Acoustic Rock Workshop will give student Singers insight into song selection, musicianship, their look, and how to present their self onstage.
Students will choose 2-3 songs from our song list of Pop/Rock Repertoire to work on throughout the course. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to sing vocal backup and harmonies with classmates.
We will work to develop an understanding of stage presence, musical terminology, communication with instrumentalists and other musicians, voice physiology and vocal technique and lyric interpretation.
In order for students to get the maximum individualized attention within a group setting, class size is limited to 5 students.
An informal concert will be presented at the end of six weeks for family and invited guests. Additional performances may be arranged at local venues.
