Here are just a few reviews from Yelp-

Reviewed by Angel O. They have an excellent lunch deal with an app and entree for $15. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was excellent, the host was charming, atmosphere is warm and inviting. Thank goodness they use linen napkins. I highly recommend the Frito Misto. I love Italian food and this is primo! I also had a $4 glass of good Pinot Grigio. Ciao, baby!

Reviewed by M C. I live in DC but when my office closed early for the Easter holiday, my finance and I knew it was the perfect opportunity to try Palo in the lovely little town of Leesburg. Having lived in Italy, as well as considering dining out at the top of my list of extracurriculars, I think I know a good place when I see (try) it. Palio was everything I thought it would be, and MORE. The restaurant itself is lovely---with wood paneled walls, high ceilings and antique mirrors everywhere. The bathrooms were floor to ceiling Italian marble. BELLISSIMA! Now for the food-- the Chef obviously knows what he is doing, because it was the perfect mix of Italian with a unique touch. The carpaccio (done in house) was fresh and DREAMY. The rockfish and cod were incredible--- light and flaky and delish. We ate every bite. Chef Cicala obviously puts a lot of attention into each dish. I cannot wait to come back and try the pasta, made in house. Everything is SO fresh!!!!! Palio is worth the drive. GO NOW!!! Vai vai vai!

Reviewed by Alessia D. Incredible! That's really the only word that I can use to describe Palio. I dined there with a friend a few weeks ago and feel completely in love. The food was stupendous and really hit the mark. The Chef- Joe Cicala even came out to our table to make sure everything was prepared the way we wanted. We had three courses and every course was better than the last. I was pleasantly surprised by the wait staff who seemed to thoroughly enjoy working at Palio. I can't wait to go back. I highly HIGHLY recommend it.

About This Local Business

In a departure from his usual low profile, Michael O’Connor has introduced Palio to Historic Downtown Leesburg. Under the direction of Proprietor Antonio Pino, known as “Nino” to his friends and patrons, Palio offers a new dining experience. A well known face in the Washington area, Nino has put establishments like Zeffirelli’s in Herdon and Primi Piatti in Washington, D.C. on the map. He brings his elegance and charm to Palio clientele in a memorable dining experience. The Palio equestrian theme derives from the infamous, centuries-old Palio di Siena horse race which began in the mid-17th century.

The restaurant comfortably seats 65 upstairs and boasts a 24-seat full-service lounge at street level. Private parties may be booked in a spacious room complete with a full bar upstairs. Most of the menu is seasonal with the spectacular wine list including many local selections. Pasta, breads and charcuterie are each prepared fresh daily in-house. "The historic building has been tastefully redesigned to provide an exceptional experience, and the work of local artists adds to the ambiance. Italian marble, upscale lighting and just the right music all ensure a meal to remember."
